Sake-marinated Salmon

Quite an interesting and tasty dish, sake-marinated salmon with a spicy pineapple reduction. The recipe can be found on foodtv.com.

Fillets should be grilled, but pan frying will do.

Mr. Sushi

Mr. Sushi in Arlington Center (Map)

I had a chance to dine at Mr. Sushi in the heart of Arlington this past Friday with a couple of friends.  From the menu, I ordered the Seafood Udon Noodles, along with a few types of sushi roll.  My friend made a great suggestion to the waitress on adding tempura flakes to the sushi rolls.  While the sushi itself wasn’t distinguishable from any other places, the Udon Bowl was spectacular.  The noodle texture can be described as perfection, slightly chewy and tasteful.  The soup base was tasteful and simply amazing.
